Its role

The association seeks to promote heritage, science, culture and tourism. Its roles include:

  • to promote historical research into the Occupation and Resistance in the Morvan and to make the results of this research available to the widest possible audience
  • to ensure the preservation and development of all heritage sites and artefacts related to the period of the Occupation and Resistance in the Morvan
  • to carry out educational and citizenship work by promoting transmission of the values of the Resistance
  • to manage the Morvan Resistance Museum
  • to manage the Dun-les-Places Memorial
  • to promote the “Resistance in the Morvan - Memorial Routes” sites
  • to organise events beneficial to tourism, history and remembrance related to the Occupation and Resistance in Morvan
